These photos were taken over the weekend. We went on a family trip to Peanut Island and I brought my little Casio. Its not as cool as my Nikon SLR but its definately lighter to carry around and fits in my pocket!

Manatee
Manatees are an endangered species, protected under the federal Endangered Species and Marine Mammal Protection Acts and the Florida Manatee Sanctuary Act. Its very sad, but almost every manatee in the wild is criss-crossed by scars from boaters. This manatee photo was taken in Captiva Island in the boat marina at South Seas Resort.
