with ceremony at Pieke Auditorium Gazebo in Plantation, FL, portraits at Robbins Park and a reception following at East City Grill in Weston, FL. This weather we've been having lately is about as fall as it gets for south florida, so I would say this was an amazingly gorgeous florida fall wedding, everything about it just felt crispy, artistic, original, and creative. Gloria handmade (with organic fabric) her wedding dress and her bridesmaid's dress. Her favors were little packets of seeds in gift bags that said "recycle me". The table centerpieces, potted flower plants in bloom, said "take me!" to the guests! And my favorite thing of all were the handpainted arrow signs that pointed to their wedding gazebo. They also had THE BEST wedding cake I've ever tasted! Richard and Gloria said poetic vows to one another and then had the groom's friend play guitar with both him and his wife singing this very original song by Michelle Featherstone called "We Are Man And Wife" that moved everyone to tears. I just have to share the lyrics with everyone because it's a beautiful song:
